Milk makeup holographic stick supernova review năm 2024

Whether you're just getting into the wonders of highlighter or well-acquainted with its glow-inducing powers, the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Mars appeals to all skill levels. Novices will find the creamy formula foolproof to use. Experts will appreciate how buildable and versatile it is.

Last year, the Internet fell in love with Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Supernova, a silver cream with a lavender shift. Recently, Milk Makeup followed up the cool-toned luminizer with Mars, a warm, golden-peach hue. Unlike Supernova, which can be unforgiving on deeper skin tones, Mars is actually universally flattering (no, really, it is; we've put it to the test here at the Allure office). The sheen on the Mars highlighter is sheer and more subtle than Supernova, so it never looks chalky on deeper skin tones. And even when you apply it to multiple areas of your face, you still get a natural-looking glow that looks like you're basked in twinkly, golden candlelight.

The smooth application of the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Mars can be attributed to its skin-loving ingredients. The cream highlighter's hydrating mango butter and coconut and avocado oils melt into skin, leaving it dewy and nourished. It won't look cakey or heavy like some of the powder highlighter options on the market.

On deeper complexions, Mars gives skin a golden glow without a hint of ashiness. And when light hits cheekbones, the highlighter shifts to a pretty peach tone. Check it out on our associate social media manager Lara Adekola.

Unicorn and mermaid-inspired beauty products have pretty much taken over the Internet at this point, but we'll always have a soft spot for the originals. One of our favorites is the Milk Makeup Supernova Holographic Stick, a lilac-tinged silver luminizer in a giant, twist-up tube. The delivery is genius (glides right over the high planes of your face or functions like a flat pan if you want to dip a finger/brush in for detail work), the color is just right (AKA, magical), and the finish is the perfect mix of subtle sheen and celestial glow. We honestly thought it couldn't be improved, but the brand instantly got our attention when they showed us a sneak peek of the brand-new Mars shade (officially launching May 2nd).

Unlike its cool-toned predecessor, Mars mixes an ultra-flattering apricot hue with gold and pink reflects — kind of like a sunset in a stick. Something it does have in common with Supernova: a nourishing base that includes ingredients like mango butter, peach nectar, and avocado oils. Also, the formula features meteorite powder and "twilight pearls." (For a galactic glow, you must have otherworldly ingredients. It's a rule.) Shop it, stat, for a makeup routine that shines brighter than the sun.

Updated Apr. 26, 11:30 AM: If May 2nd seems light-years away to you, then good news: Milk Makeup is bringing its most devoted fans a secret pre-sale tonight (April 26th). Head to their website to score yours from 12:00 AM tonight to 12:00 AM tomorrow. We're guessing a highlighter this otherworldly is going to sell out fast, so get that galactic glow, stat.

Sadly I returned this product. It did absolutely nothing for my very fair skin. Perhaps on dark complexions it would be pretty. Not a bad product just too light for me.

Gorgeous! Beautiful purple holographic highlighter. Looks awesome on upper cheekbones and even eyelids.
