This one is made in Parsippany, NJ., USA and that is usually what I always want, however I know that sunscreen products made in Europe work better than the ones made elsewhere. This is the first -- now my only -- sunscreen that WORKS -- AND it is easy to apply, doesn't stain my clothes, and doesn't smell bad either. It's a win, win, win. I live in a sunny climate, where daily sun protection is a must. Also, I just ordered several bottles to take with me on a beach vacation to Portugal. It's that good! My skin is highly allergic so I rotate creams. At the top of my rotation is Anthelios 60 Cooling Water Lotion Sunscreen, which is even lighter than the Avene and feels slightly better when dry. I like the finish it puts on my skin. There is a white residue after rubbing it in which I attribute to the mineral content. Price seems fair so I would purchase again. It's so much healthier than using a foundation and has spf cream in it. If you are on the fence about this product buy it! I apply it every day with a foundation brush and it covers the inconsistencies in my skin tone. I don't look like I have make up caked on everyday at work.
