Is COSRX good for sensitive skin

Cosrx has been known for their soft and mild skincare which has been super hyped on the internet. I still remember their popular Cosrx One Step Original Clear Pads. This product has become a powerful beast in the K-beauty skincare and it was sold out pretty fast. While back, thinking about how fast I made the purchase for Cosrx clear pads before sold out. It’s crazy and I’ve never been super competitive like this. haha

Today, I have 2 product to talk here. Let’s start!^o^

One is Cosrx new product which is COSRX Low PH First Cleansing Milk Gel and the other one is Cosrx One Step Green Hero Calming Pad.

First, let’s start with COSRX Low PH First Cleansing Milk Gel 150ml.

“A milky-gel type first cleanser that gently removes base makeup leaving soft and well-balanced skin.”

“Sunscreen & base makeup remover
This milk-like gel type first cleanser gently touches your sensitive skin, cleansing sunscreen/waterproof ingredients without stripping and drying out the skin.
Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract helps to gently remove makeup residue.”

Before trying out the cleanser, first thing, my eyes stop winking was the information. Does this really remove sunscreen and base makeup? ㅇㅁㅇ The information seems really promising and I can’t wait to try it especially this cleanser is for sensitive skin.^o^

It has a pH level of 5.5 which is close to the pH level of the skin leaves skin feeling comfortable and moisturized.

Ingredients:
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dipropylene Glycol, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Arginine, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Butylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Disodium EDTA, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract

The key ingredient is Carica papaya Fruit Extract which helps to remove sunscreen and makeup and Hamamelis Virginiana Extract to soothe and moisturize the skin. It is free of paraben, alcohol, and sulfate. But it is not Silicon-free unlike the Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.

The texture does like a milky and more like creamy gel. The milk gel has a light texture, not tacky and easy to spread and massage on the skin. This soft and mild texture very suitable for sensitive skin. The scent smells very lemonade and feels pleasant.

I give a gentle massage on my face and after that, I wash it off with water and my face feels very soft and clean. It doesn’t leave my skin dry at all.

It does feel very moisturizing after wash it off. This milk gel cleanser is a non-foaming cleanser, so there is no foam, and I don’t need to put a lot of pressure when I massage my face. There’s no irritation, nor make the skin dry or tight and I like how gentle the cleanser is.

There’s no greasy residue afterward and it did a good job in removing sunscreen, light makeup, and non-waterproof makeup. Heavy makeup with waterproof function, might need a little extra work or cleansing oil instead.

Second products are Cosrx One Step Green Hero Calming Pad.

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water(Green tea water), Butylene Glycol, Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion) Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Artemisia Princeps Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Cassia Obtusifolia Seed Extract, Lactobionic Acid, Maltodextrin, Panthenol, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Glycerine, Arginine, Allantoin, Asiaticoside, Asiatic acid, Madecassic acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Menthyl Lactate, Mentha Haplocalix Extract

The color of the pads is slightly green than the original white color because the pads are soaked with 75% of green tea water. The texture of the pad is soft which suitable for sensitive skin. There isn’t any essence swimming around at the bottom of the jar, it is all just being held well inside the jar. Quite surprised! Thanks to advanced technology! All in all, Cosrx Green Tea Hero Calming Pad is a low PHA mild exfoliating pad which specifically targeted for sensitive skin!

First, I use the rough side to exfoliate, then use the soft side to remove any remaining dirt. Also, don’t forget your neck too. I personally used this in the morning after my facial cleanser and also at night. I found out after using these pads, my skin feels much cleaner, smoother and feels a bit moisturized.

For more fun routine at night, I use these pads as a mask. I takeout 6 pads and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and apply it on my face. It feels much more calming and at the same time give treatment to your skin when your skin gets stressed out.

For more smooth makeup application, you can use these pads before applying makeup.

I really love these 2 products from Cosrx. There’s no word of wasting whenever I used these 2 products. Overall I absolutely love this 2 product and I totally recommend this especially if you have sensitive skin, as the ingredients in this will really help a lot to calm the skin! Get this product if you can get your hands on it, it’s definitely a great product that you must have in your skincare stash!^o^
