Một vài nguồn tin đã nói rằng smartphone Windows 10 Mobile cao cấp ra mắt sắp tới sẽ được gọi là Lumia 950 và 950 XL thay vì Lumia 940 như một số tin đồn trước đó.
Trang ItHome.com từ Trung Quốc mới đây cũng đã xác nhận thông tin trên, theo họ, bộ đôi smartphone Windows Phone cao cấp nhất năm nay sẽ mang tên là Lumia 950 và Lumia 950 XL.

Các smartphone này sẽ đến thị trường trong khoảng thời gian tháng 10 hoặc 11 và cả hai đều có vỏ kim loại mỏng cũng như có cổng USB Type-C cho phép cắm cáp USB một cách khá thoải mái.
Ngoài ra, nguồn tin này cũng xác nhận thông số của Lumia 950 (với tên mã là Talkman) sẽ có màn hình 5.2 inch độ phân giải 2K, nó cũng chạy chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 sáu nhân, trang bị bộ nhớ RAM 3GB, có 32GB bộ nhớ trong, hỗ trợ bộ nhớ mở rộng với khe cắm thẻ microSD. Trong khi đó, camera của nó sẽ gồm có camera chính phía sau độ phân giải 20MP, camera phụ phía trước 5MP, pin rời dung lượng 3000mAh.
Về phần Lumia 950 XL (có tên mã là Cityman) thì đây sẽ là một chiếc phablet với màn hình 5.7 inch độ phân giải 2K, bên trong trang bị chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 tám nhân, trong khi có bộ nhớ trong, RAM và camera cũng tương tự Lumia 950, nhưng có pin rời dung lượng lên tới 3300mAh.
Lumia 950 sẽ có màn hình 2K?
Điểm khác biệt so với các tin đồn trước là ItHome.com cho rằng Lumia 950 XL sẽ có một đèn flash LED ba, và hai sản phẩm này đều có màn hình 2K hay QHD thay vì Lumia 950 chỉ có màn hình ở mức Full HD.
