Once the correct version for your computer is installed, reboot, and then run the Toolkit installer again. It should now complete the installation without any error messages. Reaper is throwing this error message on start up but seems to be working fine, otherwise - at least, as far as I can tell. The error cropped up "out of nowhere", seemingly. (I'm on V6.81, but it started on 6.80.) A fresh Reap install including Reapack and SWS does NOT throw this error, so it's something in my Resources folder that's initiating it, but what and why, and should I care? Win 7 would not co-operate with a System Restore point . I'm stumped.... Thanks in advance. Fair enough, but when Reapack is first opened, the ReaTeam stuff is selected by default (along with scripts by MPL and X-Raym) which could lead the uninitiated to assume that it should all be downloaded. In cases like in this thread, I agree with dug dog that installing all extensions by default is not the right decision. (e.g. I have had very hard times with js_ReaScriptAPI.dll long time ago when my PC went to Bluescreen very very often due to this extension - I think it was in connection to sample rate or something like that even it should not matter, but, hey, removing solved the bluescreens). Also often ReaLearn caused troubles for some users - reported here in forum. Out of the box ReaPack does not install anything. It waits for the user to manually pick the individual things that they want to install using the "Browse packages" window. (Eg. on my main REAPER install I have less than 100 packages installed out of thousands of available ones. Just four extensions including ReaPack itself.) Out of popular demand there is a way to make it install everything, but it's just an option and it's disabled by default. (There is also a slightly hidden button to install everything from a repository.)
