My local computer (at home) is XP Pro, and I'm connecting to my office computer, Win 7, with remote desktop via vpn. I don't want people at the office to be able to see what I'm doing. Is there a way to make the screen blank or locked?
Depending on the program you are using, the screen will look like it's locked by the user remoted into the system.

If you're using Microsoft' Remote desktop, your office computer will show login screen during your session. If you are using things like TeamViewer, LogmeIn, VNC - check their settings.
Many programs like the ones mentioned above allow "blank remote screen" so that you can temporarily blank or even turn off the remote monitor during remote session. Status Not open for further replies.
