Chỉ một thời gian cụ thể, chính xác. E.g: The bus leaves at 8 a.m. (Xe buýt rời đi lúc 8 giờ sáng.)Lưu ýDùng để chỉ các buổi lớn trong ngày. (in the morning, in the afternoon,…)

Dùng để chỉ cả dịp nghỉ lễ kéo dài. (in Tet holiday) In the weekend: có “the”

Dùng để nhấn mạnh ngày chính của dịp lễ. (on New Year’s Eve – đêm giao thừa) On the weekend: có “the”

Dùng để chỉ khoảng thời gian ngắn chỉ kéo dài vài tiếng. (at night, at noon,…)

Dùng để chỉ cả dịp nghỉ lễ kéo dài. (at Christmas, at Easter) At weekend: không có “the”
