Top 10 characters from ranma 1 2 react năm 2024

- Picolet Chardin II, just a french fop and he's so very weird with his abnormal big mouth and long tongue!

- Madame St. Paul, the same thing for Picolet Chardin II and she's stern and stupid!

- Tsubasa Kurenai, a stupid transvestite boy cartoon taking on a girlish voice, and beh, looking like a girl in the face! A useless "running gag" character!

I love Ranma 1/2. Everyone other anime fan in America as a kid watched either Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z. I obsessed over a show about Japanese teenagers who challenged each other to martial arts bouts and threw cold water on the ones cursed with weird transformations.

It’s awesome.

Someone gave me the idea to do some sort of subjective ranking, and I thought about doing so based on the character’s morality. By the end of this journey, I ended up learning a lot more about the show and why I like it so much. There’s a lot of intention behind its insanity.

For the purposes of simplifying my analyses, I’m using Moral Foundations Theory and assigned a score from 0 to 3 for each category to the most recognizable characters of the show. Below are the foundations.

  • Care: cherishing and protecting others; opposite of harm
  • Fairness: rendering justice according to shared rules; opposite of cheating
  • Loyalty: standing with your group, family, nation; opposite of betrayal
  • Respect: submitting to tradition and authority; opposite of subversion
  • Purity: dislike for disgusting things or actions; opposite of degradation

Let’s get into it!

15. Happosai

The grandmaster of Anything Goes Martial Arts, Happosai is the most despised character in the show, loathed by characters and fandom alike. His crippling addiction to stealing women’s underwear goes frequently unchecked. He does help Ranma… but more just to grope her in female form.

If there’s a way for me to rank him any lower, let me know.

Total Score: 1

14. Tendo Nabiki

Despite her middle-sister filial love, Nabiki is extremely amoral. She loves money and will do anything to pursue it…

Out of order, although Ranma chan and Principal Kahuna Kuno remain my 2 equal favourites.💖

1 - Ranma Saotome as girl my waifu since i'm a child!

2 - Shampoo, very beautiful! my second waifu just after Ranma -Chan!

3 - Ryoga Hibiki, mostly in his baby pig form, A.K.A. P-Chan.

4 - Genma Saotome, Ranma's dad, even he's fun as human i prefer his panda form.

5 - Principal Kahuna Kuno, or Kuno Kocho in japanese version, since i've see him on the episode "Dear Daddy...Love Kodashi" episode, he's a handsome and charismatic crazy man, he's not really mean but clumsy and fun! My husbando!

6 - Kasumi Tendo , who's the nicest of all the girls in Soun Tendo.

7 - Cologne, Shampoo's great grandmother. A very cute little old and wise woman. I love also her young version from an episode. ("Obaba" in japanese version)

8 - Kodashi Kuno, i know she's crazy but she's very cute and bashful among all Ranma's pretenders. 9 - Akane's "doppelganger". I hate the original Akane Tendo, but as possessed by an evil doll, she becomes hot with a suave and devilish voice, that's why i really liked the OAV in english called "The Two Akanes!" Ranma, Look At Me! 10 - Hinako Ninomiya in her adult form, i always love femmes fatales in animes and cartoons, Miss Hinako has her place in my Top 10! Honorables mentions : Sasuke Sarugakure. He's just cute and loyal to Kuno's family. Tatewaki Kuno sure! Funny and elegant stalker. Ukyo Kuonji, she matches perfectly with Ranma Kun. And Mousse, human or duck because he deserves to be with Shampoo! Check in my own group from mu A.U. ![:iconshampoo-x-mousse:](//www.deviantart.com/shampoo-x-mousse)

My Top 10 Worst Ranma 1/2 Characters

Ranma 1/2 : Rumiko Takahashi (C)

The world of Ranma 1/2 is built around martial arts and strength, with characters getting into all sorts of rivalries. But who is the strongest?

The world of Ranma 1/2 is built around martial arts and strength, with characters getting into all sorts of rivalries. Over the years, fans often debate which characters are stronger than others.

Some characters can certainly be skilled to near-genius levels in their training, but their attacks might mostly be played as a joke. And there are different ways a character can be "strong." Some have deadly attacks but have clear physical limitations. The fact that many characters are cursed to have alternate forms being their strength levels can also change the second an opponent douses them with water at the right temperature.

10 Nabiki Tendo: She Can't Fight But She'll Survive

Akane's sister Nabiki doesn't exactly have any fighting skills and when she finds herself in a situation where physical prowess is needed, she'll usually rely on other characters to protect her.

This doesn't necessarily mean she can't take care of herself: she will find some way to exploit and blackmail anyone she needs to so that she gets what she wants. People who want to attack her usually learn the hard way that whatever plans they have planned will always backfire.

9 Kasumi Tendo: There's More To Her Than Meets The Eye

At first glance, Kasumi seems to sweet and friendly to ever harm anyone. For the most part, that is actually true and she rarely gets involved with conflict. And she's so sweet and pure that most characters probably won't want to harm her in the first place.

But there are hints that she's tougher than she looks and possibly had some martial arts training, such as her being able to produce a battle aura. She can also summon an army of cats at will.

8 Tatewaki Kuno: He Lives In A Fantasy World

At first glance, Tatewaki Kuno seems pretty tough. He is a powerful fighter, swordsman, and champion of the local high school. But appearances are rather deceiving since he's actually a bit of a joke character.

It has been theorized that he's just too arrogant to improve his skills, always using factors outside of his control as a crutch, which keeps him behind the other characters. He's utterly deluded into thinking he's the best fighter there is and anyone being able to beat him is all due to some strange magic.

7 Akane Tendo: She's A Martial Artist, But Kind Of A Damsel-In-Distress

Akane is a fierce little tomboy with a fiery temper who can usually put up a fight. After all, as an heir to the Anything-Goes Martial Arts School, she would have been raised to defend herself. On the other hand, she often plays the role of damsel-in-distress in the series and the manga and anime go back and forth on whether or not she can rescue herself.

She never exactly loses her status as a talented martial artist, and actually hones her skills over time, but tends to simply be outclassed by the other characters, with Ranma, in both his male and female forms, usually doing the bulk of the fighting. She also tends to be oblivious about things, like the true identity of P-Chan.

6 Pantyhose Taro: He's Basically A Winged Minotaur (& He Later Gets Tentacles)

Pantyhose Taro is cursed with his humiliating name, as well as the curse of the springs, thanks to Happōsai (eventually becoming a villain in the series.) He is skilled as a human, but his fatal flaw seems to be that, rather than train to improve his skills, he relies on the cursed springs to improve his odds.

His cursed form is a chimerical monster of all sorts of creatures (mostly resembling a Minotaur with wings) that have drowned in the cursed springs. He later uses the spring of an impossibly drowned octopus to obtain tentacles. This comes with the added effect of dousing him with the right temperature water can reduce him to his human form, which is far more vulnerable.

5 Ukyo Kuonji: She Can Make A Dragon Out Of Batter

Just because Ukyo Kuonji is a chef doesn't mean she can't hold her own in a fight. She is powerful enough as a fighter that she can transform a spatula and cooking ingredients into deadly weapons. She can literally make a dragon out of batter to use as an attack.

One interesting thing to note about her is that, while she initially starts out as a somewhat kind-hearted character, even being a childhood friend of Ranma's, she gradually becomes more violent as the story goes on.

4 Cologne: She's The True Martial Arts Expert Of The Story

Cologne is the leader of the Chinese Amazon warrior women and the great-grandmother of Shampoo. She's incredibly powerful, even being able to control matter and the elements, like air and water, at will, which are abilities she can also teach others to perform. She's also very capable as a warrior, being able to take on Pantyhose Taro even in his monster form.

Her one caveat is that age has been somewhat cruel to her and she can be easily knocked out. She also rarely chooses a side, helping both Ranma and his enemies, although she might have her reasons for doing so, like testing characters.

3 Shampoo: She's One Of The Toughest People Of Her Warrior Village

Shampoo originates from a Chinese village of Amazon-like warrior women. She's been raised to have many fighting skills, like being able to use a giant saber and mace-like weapons. She's also extremely talented at tracking, having been able to follow two strangers across China into Japan.

Characters, when they are not being terrified of her, tend to misjudge her and think she's a bit bubbly, but the truth is that she's actually a mastermind when she wants to be. While she has a cursed form, a cat, she's one of the few characters who manages to use this to her advantage. Like Akane, she sometimes plays the role of damsel-in-distress, but this is more out of a desire to roleplay, and have Ranma come to her rescue, than her actually needing any help.

2 Ryoga: He's Tough As Long As He Isn't A Pig

Ryoga is strong enough to break concrete and metal. He can easily withstand powerful attacks. Even he seems to underestimate how strong he is. He's a character that can easily face off against Ranma and put up a fight. He's even saved Ranma and Akane on various occasions.

Unfortunately, he's just really unlucky and it always finds a way to knock him down. He shares a curse similar to Ranma, except he transforms into a black piglet.

1 Ranma: He's The Strongest Character In the Series

Thanks to his curse that has the effect of transforming him into a girl at times, Ramna often finds himself in a body that both is and isn't his own. Though it is important to note that he's been able to defeat opponents even when magically stripped of his strength.

His biggest issue in a fight tends to be his own pride, as he tends to underestimate an opponent. While Ryoga is usually shown to be able to put up a fight against his rival, Ranma does tend to win more in the end.

Pantyhose Taro (パンスト太郎, Pansuto-Tarō), is the main antagonist in the Ranma 1/2 anime and manga series, is a young martial artist, who is born in Jusenkyo and the arch-nemesis of Happosai.

Do Ranma and Akane like each other?

The two are often seen in each others presence when they're not fighting, and often work together when trying to accomplish something. At the end of the series, Ranma admits his love for Akane. He opens his mouth wide, and thinks the words, but it is unclear if anything comes out, save her name.

Who did Ranma end up with?

In the end, both Ranma and Akane knows that they love each other and almost got married until it was ruined. Ranma recived a gift containing the water which can turns him back to normal from the guide but Happosai drank it all. So basically, they weren't married and Ranma is still half girl.
