What is The Ordinary Argireline 10% & what does it do?

Argireline is one of the 4 peptides in The Ordinary range. The other peptides are; Multi-Peptide Serum + HA, Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% and Matrixyl. Argireline is known as “Botox in a Bottle” as it targets the dynamic lines around the forehead and eye area.

A super lightweight solution that targets signs of ageing by improving the appearance of areas of the skin prone to dynamic folds. (around eyes & forehead).⁣

How & when do I use The Ordinary Argireline

  • Argireline is a water-based solution.
  • Apply a few drops directly onto cleansed skin around the eyes and forehead.

It can be combined with either, keeping in mind that Multi-Peptide + HA Serum contains Argireline Solution 10% as an ingredient

Can The Ordinary Matrixyl be used with Tretinoin?

Unfortunately, we can’t really comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands, prescription medications, or speak to their similarities. We can only speak to the compatibility of our own formulations.

If I am using Niacinamide and Argireline, which one goes first?

Is The Ordinary Argireline Solution ok for Pregnancy?

While each ingredient has been tested and is considered safe for topical application, DECIEM products have not been tested on people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is specifically recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids, such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol. We recommend that you please consult with your doctor before incorporating new skin and hair care products into your routine.

Yes, you can.

Can I use Argireline Solution over the whole face and neck?

Yes, you may.

Is it ok to use The Ordinary Argireline with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid and Vitamin C in F?

You may use it with The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F. We wouldn’t suggest using it with Glycolic Acid.

What would you recommend for fine lines under the eyes?

For the under eyes, we would suggest using The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%. A lightweight peptide solution, Argireline, has been shown to visibly improve the look of skin in areas prone to dynamic folds, including around the eyes and forehead area.

Would you recommend using The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum all over the face and Argireline on the forehead and eye area?

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum + HA already contains Matrixyl and Argireline. It would not be necessary to apply them in the same regimen.

Product pilling/balling. If you find little bits of product coming off after applying it, this is called pilling or balling. It’s quite a common topic in the Deciem Chat Room. You can try using less product and patting it onto your face rather than rubbing it in. If the pilling continues, look at the other products you’re using alongside Argireline.
