Fortunate to have driven the car into the garage just before. Just-so-happened that as I looked out of the garage I saw Shawn and Team from 'Above-the-Rest Garage Door Service' installing a new garage door at my neighbor's house. I walked across the street, liked the quality work that Shawn & Team were doing so decided to ask if they could repair my door that just broke. Shawn said he would be happy to look at the door. I even suggested installing an entireley new door if necessary. As soon as Shawn completed my neighbor's repair, he came to my house and said that only the cables and brackets needed to be replaced. I asked him to replace the strut as well because it was bent. Shawn & Team quickly made repairs, adjusted springs and had to alter the center bearing bracket that was incorrectly installed by a previous repair company. That bracket was oversized and caused the door and strut to bend in the center. In my opinion and from directly observing Shawn & Team's work that they used quality parts, worked efficiently and knew what they were doing. I certainly appreciated that Shawn didn't try to sell me something I didn't need (a new garage door & hardware). Will certainly utilize his services if needed in the future. Also found out that another neighbor had utilized Shawn's services in the past and was very complimentary of his work. The price was part of the overall payment to Priestas. They said they never used anyone but Shawn and after they completed the job, I know why. They were very professional and curtious. We couldn't be more pleased. The door is exactly what we wanted and opens and closes so quietly you can barely hear it.
