A couple of months ago, Kotobukiya teased us with Shunya Yamashita's concept art of the newest addition to their DC Bishoujo Collection statue line: Power Girl! Needless to say, my excitement was off the charts. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait long, because now the pic of the actual statue is out...and it is glorious! Show  Power Girl here is from Kotobukiya's DC Bishoujo Collection, a line of bishoujo ("pretty girl" in Japanese)-inspired statues of DC Comics' superheroines and supervillains, based on the art of renowned bishoujo illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Now, I'm not much of a DC Bishoujo statue fan, but I AM huge (pardon the pun) PeeGee fan, and seeing her playful yet powerful self drawn by Shunya Yamashita and captured in statue form is enough to make me cave in and buy into this statue line just for her. I cannot wait! I've had a run of great items to review - it continues tonight with the very cool Bishoujo Power Girl statue. The DC bishoujo figures are turning out great. IMO, better then the Marvel lineup. I guess that's why I have all the DC lineup instead of Marvel.
Me too. Recently, I decided to collect all the marvel bishoujo as well and bought ms. marvel, storm and elektra. But I changed my mind and want to focus on DC bishoujo only. Now I ended up regretting of making purchases on these marvel bishoujo. Have to sell them asap.

I thought the WW statue in this line was nearly perfect, but the PG statue is a big miss in my opinion. The legs are good, but the upper body doesn't really say "Power" to me and it's not just the boobs, the arms and shoulders etc. are too petite.

As much as I dont want to spend extra money to collect the bishoujo line, its getting really hard not to get such good looking statues
