CHƯƠNG I: MƯỜI NGUYÊN LÝ CỦA KINH TẾ HỌC
- Một hộ gia đìnhphải đối mặt với nhiều quyết định, vấn đề đặt ra
là các hộ gia đình phải phân bổ nguồn lực khan hiếm của mình cho các
thành viên trong hộ gia đình tùy theo khả năng, nỗ lực, mong muốn của
từng thành viên.
- Trên thế giới có bốn hệ thống kinh tế với những đặc điểm khác nhau: chủ nghĩa
cộng sản, chủ nghĩa xã hội, chủ nghĩa tư bản và kinh tế hỗn hợp. Điểm chung
của bốn hệ thống kinh tế này là đều phải trả lời các câu hỏi:
Sản xuất sản phẩm nào? Số lượng bao nhiêu?
Tổ chức sản xuất như thế nào?
Sản xuất cho ai?
- Khan hiếm có nghĩa là nguồn lực của xã hội hạn chế và không thể sản xuất tất
cả hàng hóa và dịch vụ mà mọi người mong muốn
- Kinh tế học là môn học nghiên cứu cách thức con người sử dụng các nguồn tài
nguyên khan hiếm sao cho có hiệu quả trong việc tổ chức sản xuất ra các hàng hóa
và dịch vụ nhằm thỏa mãn nhu cầu của xã hội hiện nay và trong tương lai.
Lưu ý: Khan hiếm và thiếu hụt trong kinh tế học là hai khái niệm khác nhau.
A. Con người ra quyết định như thế nào?
1. Con người đối mặt với sự đánh đổi:
- Ngạn ngữ về sự đánh đổi: “Chẳng có gì là cho không cả.”
- Để có một thứ ưa thích, chúng ta thường bỏ đi một thứ khác mà mình cũng ưa
thích đó là sự đánh đổi.
- Những ví dụ tiêu biểu:
Sự đánh đổi giữa “súng và bơ”: Khi xã hội chi tiêu cho quốc
phòng càng nhiều để bảo vệ bờ cõi khỏi giặc ngoại xâm (súng), nó sẽ
phải chi tiêu ít đi cho hàng tiêu dùng phục vụ đời sống của người dân
(bơ).
Sự đánh đổi quan trọng trong xã hội hiện đại là giữa môi trường
trong sạch và thu nhập: Các đạo luật yêu cầu doanh nghiệp phải cắt
giảm lượng chất thải gây ô nhiểm sẽ đẩy chi phí sản xuất lên cao. Do
chi phí cao hơn, nên cuối cùng các doanh nghiệp này sẽ kiếm được ít
