Thanks to the internal divider, which has two mesh pockets, memory cards and other accessories can also be stored separately from the camera. On the inside back of the bag there is another compartment for flat accessories. The soft inner lining protects the equipment perfectly. The zip can be comfortably opened wide, while protective inserts on the sides secure the equipment.
FLEXIBLE CARRYING COMFORT
Due to the adjustable strap, which can be opened with a clip closure, the Quick Escape camera bag can be worn comfortably over the shoulder or around the hips. A rotating strap attachment provides additional comfort. The excess strap can be fastened with a clip and thus does not interfere by hanging down.

The Crumpler Quick Escape 400 is a very compact bag. There is just one big compartment to keep your camera with lenses and all your accessories. The compartment is divided by a tongue divider. It also has pockets to hold your memory cards and other accessories.
The bag is made from 1000d Chicken Tex Supreme fabric which is lightweight, durable and rain proof. Under the back of the bag, you also can find an integrated rain cover that can be used when it is raining hard. The bag is rain-proof but it is not totally water-proof, so you should be careful as well. I am a little disappointed as I couldn’t see the rain cover in my bag, probably it is missing in production.
Overall, this is a good case with simple design, convenient to use and protect your camera very well. I don’t really like the look but if you don’t mind it, this is the good choice.

The Crumpler Quick Escape Toploader comes in seven bag sizes: Quick Escape 100, 150, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 800. The smallest is the 100, which comfortably carries a compact camera, and the largest is the 800, which is on test here.
The bag measures 26x30x13cm (outer size) and is designed to carry a small/medium DSLR with a lens attached, two medium-sized zoom lenses, or a couple of large primes. Padded dividers in the centre separate lenses and cameras. The rear has a padded space for a 10in tablet, too.
Inside are various pockets for memory cards and other small accessories, although there’s not an abundance of space. The front houses a shallow zip pocket, which is ideal for a wallet or keys – provided you’re not worried about safety (the zip is very exposed).
The outside is made from water-resistant and durable Chicken Tex material, while the inside is a RipStop nylon to help prevent tears.

Crumpler has years of experience making bags, so as you’d expect the materials are of a very high standard. Laden, the bag is difficult to wear in any way other than a sling, but this is very comfortable. As camo goes, it’s also rather stylish although there is also an all-black version available. For travelling with a small amount of kit, the Toploader offers both quick access and comfort.
