B�n�teau's Flyer range is enhanced in 2016 by two new models, the Flyer 8.8 Sundeck and Spacedeck. Like previous models in the range, they both feature the latest generation airstep hull, which allows air to circulate under the boat. This improves glide and reduces fuel consumption. Last but not least, their round bow, borrowed from the automotive world, not only ensures better passage through the water, but also enlarges the foredeck and, in particular, the cabin on these two models.
With a motor capacity of up to 500 HP, these two outboards are first and foremost boats designed for cruising pleasure.
Despite their common hull, their deck layout and interiors are quite different, even though they both feature a spacious saloon with a mid-cabin. Thanks to this clever interior layout, both models can sleep up to 4 people, a first in the flyer range.
The Flyer 8.8 Sundeck
Presented at the forthcoming Yachting Cannes Festival, the Flyer 8.8 Sundeck version is a comfortable, livable boat, ideal for one- or two-day cruising. At the stern, the bench seat converts to a sundeck, and at the bow, a solarium accommodates two mattresses with headrests and cup holders. The aft cockpit is fully enclosed for safe family cruising. An optional t-top houses the helm station. This is located on the starboard side, with a double seat.
The saloon is accessed through a door next to the cockpit. Thanks to side windows, a "sky view" deck hatch and ventilation portholes, the Flyer 8.8 Sundeck's saloon is bright and airy. Forward is a table with a large U-shaped bench seat, which converts to a 2-person berth for night-time use. Near the companionway on the port side are a work surface, refrigerator and microwave. On the other side are the toilet and shower. Finally, at the stern, below the companionway, is a mid-cabin.
With its ingenious interior layout, the Flyer 8.8, although still considered a day-boat, can be used for a variety of sailing programs.

The Spacedeck version of the Flyer 8.8 offers a very large deck opening for plenty of space on board. Unlike the Sundeck version, the cockpit is central and can accommodate up to 3 people. It conceals a galley.
