Uttar Pradesh Free Laptop List 2022: The Uttar Pradesh government has rolled out a free laptop scheme for 22 lakh students of the state. All Class 10 and 12 students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh and pass their exams with flying colours have a chance to get a brand new laptop. The UP government has fixed a budget of Rs 1,800 crore for this scheme. The scheme was announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath, with the aim of promoting the use of digital technology among students who are meritorious but do not possess sufficient means to do so.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Yogi Adityanath ji has launched the free laptop scheme. Under this scheme, free laptops will be distributed to all meritorious students on passing the 10th and 12th standards. Now all the students can make UP Laptop Yojana 2022 Registration and fill the online form at upcmo.up.nic.in.

All Eligible Applicants who want to apply this scheme then read all instructions carefully and follow the given below steps to apply online application form:
Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Uttar Pradesh Free Laptop Scheme i.e. www.up.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply Online” button.
Step 3- The UP Free Laptop Scheme application Form page will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as name, father name, date of birth, gender and other information) and upload documents.
Step 5- Click on Submit Button for the final submission of the application.

In the 10th board of UP, 83.31 per cent and 74.63 per cent students passed in the 12th. In high school (10th), Riya Jain of Barout-Baghpat topped the mark with 96.67 per cent marks. While in Intermediate (12th), Anurag Malik of Barout-Baghpat topped with 97% marks. The 10th and 12th toppers are from the same school. This year both the 10th and 12th results have been good since last year.

| Uttar Pradesh Free Laptop Scheme 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – The government of Lucknow Uttar Pradesh has bombarded facilities on the board exam toppers. The government headed by Yogi Adityanath has said that the toppers of the 10th and 12th examinations of the UP Board will be made to build a road of Rs 1 lakh, a laptop and a road to the children’s home. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the road leading to the toppers’ house will also be named after the children.
The criteria to select the students will be based upon the merit obtained. A merit list will be generated, based on which students who applied will be given the laptops. The academic will organise a special event for the distribution of laptops.
Eligibility Criteria to apply for UP Free Laptop Yojana 2021:
The official eligibility criteria has not been set by the higher authorities yet but it will be framed and announced soon. However, the basic criteria will be the same as listed below:
- Residential eligibility– The student applying for the scheme, must be a permanent resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh. He/ She should also possess a domicile supporting the same.
- Educational eligibility– The student applying is must have secured topper level marks in their 10th and 12th standard.
- Qualifying board– The student applying for the scheme should be a pass out of the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board.
- Other educational requirements– In addition to the pre-matric and post-matric students, the government is also including the students studying under an ITI or a Polytechnic course program to apply for the scheme.
- Percentage requirements– The process to select the students who will get a laptop will entirely be based upon the merit generated. This merit will include all the students who will apply for the scheme. Based on that the high-ranking students will be given the laptops. Although, the general criteria will still be to score more than 65%- 70% marks in their last class.

Uttar Pradesh and the Central Government have launched a new initiative for Scheduled Castes and Economically Weaker Persons of UP under which the Business Correspondent has to buy computers/laptops, hardware-software, a fingerprint machine, swapping machines and inverters. Help will be given which will be interest-free and the corporation will operate it directly. |
