In Windows 10 v1709 and later versions, the Server Message Block version 1 (SMBv1) network protocol is not installed by default, and must be enabled manually if you want to access a shared folder on a workstation or server, that uses the SMBv1 protocol for file sharing.

1. Navigate to Control Panel -> Programs and features. 2. Click Turn Windows features on or off from the left.
3. Expand the ‘SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support’ option and check the SMB 1.0/CIFS Client option. Click OK when done.
4. When the SMB 1.0/CIFS is installed and then click the Restart Now button to reboot your PC.

Mặc định các bản cập nhật hiện nay của windows 10, windows server 2016 đã sử dụng giao thức SMB2 trong việc truy cập chia sẻ file giữa các máy tính. Còn đối với các máy tính windows 7, winxp thì sử dụng giao thức cũ SMB1.
Do đó khi truy câp share thư mục trên windows 10 có thể xuất hiện thông báo lỗi như trên.

Mở Controll panle => Uninstall a program => Turn windows features on or off

Cách 1: kích hoạt SMB1 trên máy tính windows để tương thích với máy tính chạy windows server 2003, windows xp.
Để cài đặt SMB1 trên windows 10 ta vào: Control Panel -> chọn Uninstall a program
- Chọn Turn Windows feature on or off
- Check chọn SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support -> chọn OK
- Chọn Restart now để khởi động lại máy tính
- Vào Run để truy cập vào tài nguyên trên máy tính share
– Nhập username và password
Như vậy chúng ta đã truy cập được tài nguyên trên máy tính share của windows server 2003 hay windows XP rồi đó.
Cách 2: Nâng cấp SMB trên máy tính share dữ liệu (windows server 2003) lên phiên bản 2.0 hoặc cao hơn, cách này chỉ thực được khi chúng ta có quyền Administrator trên máy đó.
