I started seeing this error message in a pop-up window a few days ago, after I start Windows. This is happening on both my Windows 7 & Windows 8 computers. Does anyone know what it means (besides the obvious, that is)? Is it something I should be concerned about? What is AppIdentityCA anyway? "AppIdentityCA has stopped working" Thanks.

I built it with Visual Studio Express in c# using winform application. I'm fairly new to this and I can't manage to find an answer to my problem. When I try to open (launch) my application on various other computers I get a "Winformapplication has stopped working" and the application does not start. I have tried to include all the resources I use in the folder but still couldn't make this work. Strangely enough, the application works on all the computers I have Visual Studio installed (at least I think so). It worked as well on a random laptop I tried it on and it does not have anything special I could figure out (no VSE installed). This is literally my entire log, don't ask if I haven't already looked it over for more details, this is all that there is. If yes, please try to remove all of them from the mods folder and then try to start the game. Does that work? Do you have the latest update of the game installed (http://www.landwirtschafts-simulator.de ... hp?lang=en)? Can you try to post the log.txt after you managed to get the game to start? The current one unfortunately doesn't really help since it is missing most of the important information (e. g. what mods you have installed, what version of the game you are running). I got the new Holland loader pack version off of steam so I tried installing without the mod and I still got the error message. I've even tried patching it with previous versions, still nothing. I would love to give you a log.txt full of errors, however, there's nothing wrong according to the current one but it still won't launch the game. Here's what happens, I click play in the steam library (or the shortcut that I usually use) my screen goes black for a split second and then my desktop comes back with the error message. I've tried other things too like running it in administrator mode or running it at, like, windows 7 mode but still nothing as well as putting down my settings at there complete lowest. And before you ask, yes my computer is more than capable in running this game, I already got it detected with the compatibility for Farming Simulator 15 and it should run perfectly smooth, I mean when I actually do get to play by some miracle, the game plays flawlessly. Right click on FarmSimulator2015Game Application and go to properties, then click the compatibility tab and check off the "Run this program as an administrator" and it should work when you turn the game on. I don't know if this is an actual fix for everyone but so far it's working for me. If it fails me later I'll come back to say so but so far I'm getting no more errors. |
