Dragon ball xenoverse 2 review metacritic năm 2024

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s ambition is admirable, and though it’s riddled with a lot of silly little inconveniences, it mostly succeeds in giving DBZ fans an authentic-feeling world to dive into for the long haul. Though no individual element of its roleplaying or brawling gameplay is overly complex, taken as a whole there’s a surprising amount to consider while progressing your character, and enough to do to keep it from getting stale to soon.

The Xenoverse games have become sort of a love letter to all things Dragon Ball, and that’s great, but the combat still comes up short. It gets in the way of a fun, often-goofy Dragon Ball Z experience

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is the perfect game for someone who has never played Dragon Ball Xenoverse. It's little more than a remaster with an updated hub city, and, while that may be enough for some faithfuls, this game is much better experienced as a first-time DBX player. Untainted by the realization that you've done this all before, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be a good buy. Beyond that, Bandai Namco has essentially hit the rewind button.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, despite its issues, is still an improvement over the original Xenoverse, although minimally. It has its letdowns but long-term it will offer a better experience due to Bandai Namco's promised year of post-release support, including three DLC packs, as well as the present gameplay improvements and slightly more content. If you’re a Dragon Ball fan and enjoyed the first game, Xenoverse 2 will leave you off satisfied.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is the sequel of the first installment that does not bring anything new to the Dragon Ball saga. Disappointing and not living up to the expectations, DBX2 is not what the fans of the saga wanted.

A more than OK port of the original game, capable of amuse you for hours, altough it doesn't keep with the technichal prowess of the other versions.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 does a decent job of capturing the spirit of the anime series, even if its component parts don’t quite gel all of the time. There’s a huge amount of content available to players, and you can spend hours battling and levelling up in the attractive world of the Super Saiyans, even if repetition does eventually begin to set in. Fans will be well served by the alternative take on scenes they know and love, though players of the original Xenoverse may well have a strong sense of déjà vu about the whole venture.

Is Xenoverse 2 a good game?

Super fun. You get to play through the story of DBZ with a nice twist. The game has a large roster of fun characters to play with epic moves and transformations. The hub world also offers lots to do.

Is Xenoverse 2 better than Xenoverse 1?

While Xenoverse 1 had primarily run its course by the time the sequel arrived, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 has everything that made the original fun and more.

Is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 better than Kakarot?

DBZ Kakarot is more polished than XV2, and it looks and feels a lot more like Dragon Ball than XV2 manages to. XV2 has however more to do in the long run, and despite being primarily an arena fighter in many regards it's actually much more of an RPG than Kakarot.

Is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 better than Dragon Ball FighterZ?

Xenoverse 2 is a great game, but not a great fighter. Its 3D battle arena gameplay matches the scope of the anime's big fights, yet over time, battles get repetitive. FighterZ, on the other hand, never stops being fun, as it is one of the best fighting games in recent history.
