Does HP Pavilion laptop have HDMI input?

To use HDMI input on your PC it should support HDMI in settings. If your PC does not support HDMI input settings then you cannot use HDMI input on your PC.

Try the steps recommended below to connect another PC to an all-in-one using HDMI Input port.

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI-out port of the media device. (game console, disc player, another computer, etc.)

Insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI-in port on the computer, located on the lower-left side of the monitor.

Press the HDMI IN button, which is located on the underside of the lower-left corner of the monitor.

The computer switches to HDMI mode.

To switch back to PC mode, press and hold the HDMI IN button.

Did you read my previous threads completely?

The HDMI input is available only on model-specific PC's.

And your PC does not have an HDMI input button on it.

So you cannot use HDMI input on your all in one PC.

Does the HP pavilion 15 - aB040na have HDMI input capability? I'm currently trying to connect my xbox one to the laptop to use as a screen for the xbox and i have plugged the xbox into the laptop via its 1 HDMI port and the laptop hasn't switched to the xbox screen any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
